Yup.. that title is correct... this will be my last blog post gang...

Because the new site that hopefully should be up sometime this week will host the blog directly on it. If your heart skipped a beat, I apologize for the night late (or early morning?) troll. I just finished the intro I been putting off doing for a "newish" show called Two Player. Basically, me and Roamin had so much fun with the GRr Podcast magika specials that we said "Hey, lets just do more of this shit." Because it's so easy for the both of us to just play a game for a couple a hours, we already have months worth of podcasts.

In fact, if I was to stop and do nothing but put whats already uploaded and ready to be released, releasing one of these videos a day. Beaten Super Minecraft/Two Player, there would be silly video game movies to watch for months! I know a lot of you want the Unforgotten Realms more then anything and next week I should have an episode out for you guys assuming I get the website out this week which I am working my butt off to do. The first episode of me and Roamins "Two Player" show will be out later today once KillerKitten {soon to name change to Sugar on the forums} is done updating the site, it's honestly a lot of fun and we play a classic of all classics.

So as I mentioned on the soon to be Read Only forums as will have a new forums coming with the site again, I have a sort of "Community" project in the mix I'm gonna throw out there for those of you who read the blog. While animating some stuff for Unforgotten Realms a couple weeks back, I started watching the YogCast. Basically, these guys do a bunch of video game podcasts but gained a ton of popularity ever since there minecraft movies. Essentially they made a couple movies about them exploring minecraft and slowly turned it into this show where two guys who aren't roleplaying are in a roleplaying world. I absolutely loved it because it screams the Rob character and Unforgotten Realms to me.

While talking to Roamin about this, we somehow stumbled on the idea of playing Dungeons and Dragons in Minecraft. Like any big D&D fan who plays MMOs, me and Roamin were VERY EXCITED when 4.0 first came out and they started talking about this "Live" table to play with. Me and Roamin live as far away as we pretty much possibly can in North America, so this live table was huge for us. I remember even back then we were making plans to record our sessions of D&D for internet videos and this was back before the Unforgotten Realms reboots I believe. So when the light bulb of Minecraft+D&D came on, it came on really bright. I will be DMing the games and we won't be playing a "real" form of D&D to deal with balance issues, gameplay and the overall entertainment of it, but it will be in the spirit of it! Our players will be Roamin, Gaary, and the soon to be introduced Shay who will be our token girl in the D&D game, because I figured the only thing better then Roamin and Gaary is to give them someone to harass.

As this game will be built in minecraft, I'll need the help of the community to prebuild the world and dungeons. Will be having some "Build" days where I'll open up a server and ventrillo to those who sign up in advance and are interested in helping prepare the world for our three adventurers to explore. I'm super excited and it's going to be a lot of fun so when the new site comes out make sure you watch the NEW blog and NEW forums!

PS: The goal of the new site is to not only release something every single day of the week, but even moreso then that. Right now I'm getting to the point where we have too much stuff and I wanna put out some different videos every day if possible, because of this the current site design isn't really setup to showcase a bunch of videos in the small boxes really.

New Unforgotten Realms this friday as well as some special GRR Podcasts and Minecraft? Oh boy lots of content incoming.

But before I talk about that lets go over some viewer mail.

Emails like there came in by the truck load over the last couple months. Heres the jist of what happened. I finished the most recent episode, some friendly dudes wanted to buy the show, said friendly dudes backed out after I put a bunch of work into new episodes, Holidays came. I mean I have no idea why I havn't released any of the content I made before Christmas in the last month in a half, but time was just slipping through my fingers and things I needed to do first just kept coming up.

Okay so Minecraft. So about two weekends ago, I decided to try out some single player minecraft, as I explain in the first episode, I have never played single player and I decided to play it with some hardcore style mods enabled. For some reason I also decided to record it encase things turned out amazing and they turned out amazing. After two nights of playing, I had basically 12 hours of footage. What the hell do I do with 12 hours of footage? Most of it being hilarious? Well because of filesize limitations on websites like blip and youtube, episodes really can't be longer then 30 minutes without hurting quality so every Monday and Tuesday will be doing Minecraft episodes! For a long time! Let me know if you dudes like this sort of stuff and I'll make it something to do for as long as it's fun.

And then Roamin and Gaary decided last weekend that we should play some video games and when playing video games I should record them. Me and Roamin went through and found so much hilarious stuff to play we recorded a beat em up game called Cadillacs and Dinosaurs which was awesome, but the first set of GRR Gaming Podcasts will be throwing up is us playing Magika. I know, I know, a bunch of british dudes (Who are awesome) just did this and honestly after seeing that video it was Gaary who straight wanted to do the same thing, but in my defense I tried getting Roamin and Gaary to get the game day one. They just didn't think it was that cool until they found out we could kill each other.

So yeah. Episode 49 this Friday like I said. I should be releasing UR episodes up to the end of the season every Friday or other Friday, but sometimes these things just take time. A bunch of me and my buddies playing video games may help fill in some gaps for stuff you dudes can watch. Oh also theres a Roamin the Paladin T-Shirt in the store. I haven't really been advertising it yet, as I am waiting for stuff to pick up, but it's there if you want one!

Fan Expo and New Podcasts

Oh boy.... this might be a long one! Alright, so I got back from FanExpo a little over a week ago, wouldn't you know it my computer's heat sink started telling me how much it didn't like being under the table of a hot convention center. Replaced that bugger only to find out Vista thinks I don't need a desktop to use my computer, wiped my drives clean, upgraded to Windows Seven and then spent a long time installing software. MAN I have a lot of software I use to do all this stuff! So besides that slowing me down from talking about Fan Expo, I also was holding off for interviews.

Three different small little companies did video interviews with me at fan expo and none of them used my footage! Awesome! But oh well the expo as a hole was awesome. Lots of super fans who have never, ever spoken to me were super excited to meet me. I had this cool little thing going where if you signed my Eluamous Nailo or Sir Schmoopy of Awesometon posters, I would draw you a picture. Somehow I didn't realize that when you say you will draw people pictures for free, A LOT of people end up wanting pictures. Just how many did I draw then? I dunno you count for me!

If you follow that link to our new facebook group, you can also see some pictures of our booth and some fans who upgraded pictures taken with me. I will for sure be going next year back to Fan Expo in Toronto and hopefully even more dudes will sign my posters next year.

Back to the Unforgotten Realms universe, you guys want some episodes don't you? I know. I know. I have a ton of things on my plate right now, but I'm looking to get this show really going. This week I am hoping to have an episode of E-Devs up for those who enjoyed the first one as it is nearly finished and next week I'm working on a super secret video for a contest, because winning money would be awesome right now. I will try really hard to fit in getting this episode up though guys, I know you are being patient, but I need you to keep that patience for just a little longer. The biggest problem with going from working with the Escapist to myself is Time. I find myself doing more of the business aspect, then the creative aspect of the show so I'm also looking to do some expanding here too and get some other dudes on board.

Speaking of expanding and making a living off this show. BOOM T-Shirts. Now I know what your thinking "Rob, T-shirts are lame, sell something else", but you are wrong my friend. You see on the Escapist, they never really asked for my input on there shirts. The Canadian Lumber one was awesome, but the other two.. ehh. But MAN this shirt were working on is gonna be HELLA sweet. Roamin from the podcast is even going to model it for me. I'm gonna do preorders (OH GOD THE P WORD) for it later this month once everything is final but MAN. I can't wait for you dudes to see this shirt. Hey you fans that came to expo. YOU BETTER come in one of these shirts next year, you'll need a red helmet, a hammer, and a belt with a penis on it to go with this awesome shirt.

Oh and DVDs! All the preorders have be finished for awhile now (Except for that one gal who knows who she is and ordered a bajillion of them, there coming this week dollface), if you didn't get your DVD, or something was wrong with it. Please throw me an email. Sometimes I don't get back to you, but I just reminding people that they SHOULD have them by now. If you don't EMAIL ME. For those looking to by a sweet DVD and help out the show (God I have debts to pay off, I'm an internet business dude!), they will be up later this week, there will be a small little ad for you. Yeah they were all pretty good. One is even up ALREADY. Like I tell some people, Urealms, the Podcast and even E-Devs are not exactly made for the same types of people. A lot of people get all angry when I do one and not the other. In the future, hopefully I can get some help and just end up doing all three all the time!

I *Think* that is it though! Oh we have Facebook and Twitter stuff too. People keep telling me they always forget about the site to come check out our stuff so hopefully those social media outlets will help fix that! Anyway, high fives.

The first episode of our new E-Devs show is out! Make sure to check it out and LIKE/COMMENT with the new facebook thing I am trying out! Also Unforgotten Realms 49? Before the end of the month!

Things are getting better and better around here. We finished the first episode of E-Devs this week and I been working hard on some Unforgotten Realms stuff. It's been a long time since I had to draw so many things for UR. Typically you might see a reskined character or some sets "changed" a little, but never really made from scratch. I typically limit myself to only a days worth of drawing a week, but episode 49 here requires more art then almost all of Unforgotten Realms put together. You are going to see a LOT of new characters and Moon Well pass is gonna be pretty bitchin. I'm also trying out something "Different" for this next episode that some of you will love and some of you will tell me what a waste of an episode it was!

Back onto E-Devs though, a LOT of people have asked me if this show will effect Unforgotten Realms. Of course it will, but Unforgotten Realms just isn't enough anymore and I can do an episode of each or even two E-Devs episodes and a UR in the same time I can do a UR. That being said, you should still expect two or three episodes of UR a month here on out. No promises, Unforgotten Realms is still my baby, but I do want to get this Season all finished up here.

DVDs. Yeah remember those puppies? If you haven't received your DVD yet or even an email about it. Expect it by the end of the month. If you haven't received an Email about your DVD, email me at the end of the month here. The last couple hundred are going out over this week, early and late next week so every DVD will have been sent out. I talk about DVDs again, because I have had huge interest via email for people wanting to support the show and purchase a DVD! Totally awesome and late next month or early August, i'll be ready to sell them (and ship them without a 6 month wait!) when you buy them! Oh man, it will be like a REAL business then! Super sweet right?

Anyway, the last thing I want to mention is FAN EXPO in Toronto, Ontario. I am planning on heading to it (It's at the end of August), but nothing is final yet! The dudes still have to expect my application, but if any of you were thinking of heading there this year I thought I'd just give that quick shout out. E-Devs Trailer and New episode this Friday

I haven't been dead, just busy. Real life, E-Life, Fake Life and No Life have been eatting all my time, but fear not as July is shaping up to be a better month! A new episode of Unforgotten Realms this Friday and a new Trailer for a show coming "Soon".

June sucked. It sucked hard. July will be better though. I have a couple cool things coming out including the Wiki (which 90% of you won't care about, but the other 10% can nerdgasim over the reading content I been working on), the first episode of E-Devs (which 50% of you will like so much you'll want me to make that instead of Unforgotten Realms, and at least two, maybe even a third episode sometime this month (Which all of you care about even the ones who recently didn't want!)

Did I mention June sucked? Seriously, fans are great company until they think you have abandoned them. I don't make updates, if there is nothing to say. I'm nearing the end of DVD hell, so if your waiting, keep waiting! Unforgotten Realms has not been something I have had time for and while you dudes are sweet fans, this site is currently not balancing my check book, so my time will be split for now. My current wife Krysta, yes that is a joke, is helping me out with this new show. The art style and a lot of the animation will be done by her, which means it won't eat too much into my Unforgotten Realms time.

Also GROUNDBOLDS. If you been lurking around the forums or even the Steam Group I don't really advertise anymore, I have been working on a small side project so my programming brain doesn't rot with all this non-game design business. It's a fancy little side project that I do server tests for every now and then. I have a thread going to make a level, which might be somewhat confusing if you haven't played the game, but if your interested in goofing off with MS paint I suggest you check it out.

Lastly, E-Devs trailer. Like I said it's a new show that essentially I am planing to release with an expansion the game is MAYBE not too obviously based around. WINK. However, we may release an episode or two before then so keep your eyes peeled gumshoes! Thats all for now, I'm sure I'm missing a lot of stuff, but oh well!

Time is Money Friend

Hey Rob wheres Episode 48? Look dudes I know, over the last month everything that could take me away from the show has taken me away from the show. Episode 48 has been finished outside of editing and uploading for the last two weeks here, but I have been just unable to find a couple hours to finish it off!

I'm currently applying to a couple jobs, non Unforgotten Realms based. These jobs are jobs I will not get hired for and are long shots, but while I wanna put myself out there just in case I am indeed super Awesome instead of just plain awesome. Also you know that DVD I been shipping? Yeah a couple weeks ago I sent out a good 30 or so where the first DVD was blank. Man, that really sucks because and eats up more of my time. Like I said before if you haven't got your DVD and are fed up waiting, throw me an email else keep waiting! It's really hard to tell how "Far" I am in, because I keep sending DVDs to people out of order.

Oh man and the forums! Godaddy you guys are terrible! Seriously, the forums have been hacked with malware over a dozen times in the last month. Like. I mean a DOZEN. Like every other day for a week there, boom redirects the website to malware and when I blame Godaddy, I really, really, really blame godaddy. It wasn't just my little site. Thousands of sites hosted on there service were attacked. I'm in the midst of moving to another host, but alas that requires more time I don't have.

I have been answering questions via this new social networking thing. It has to be the first Social Network thing I have found that is really "useful" as it lets me answer a ton of questions publicly really, really fast! If you have a question outside of WHENS THE NEXT EPISODE! Don't be afraid to ask!

New "Episode" This Friday!

May have noticed the small little promo! There has been a bit of confusion around the new "episodes" so I thought I'd make it CRYSTAL clear for people that new episodes would be coming out this weekend!

I'm going ahead an uploading the "Escapist" versions of episodes to the site. The ones that were made for the Escapist website and not for the urealms video player. I'll most likely go through and update them to the higher quality/new credits over the next month or so but I want to have all the episodes on the website so people can catch up before the show starts up again. I'll be working on that most of the day, so look for all the episodes to be up and ready soon enough here!

A lot of people (and by a lot I mean like three cry babies) were a bit disapointed that the Episode they got last week (and this week by the way) wasn't a continuation on the story of Unforgotten Realms. I'm not really sure why because all I ever hear is "More Carl! More Roamin! More Timmy!" and when I finnally do an an entire cartoon about them people complain! Sigh.

So this week I upload a small video to Youtube of a Starcraft 2 map me and my buddy Ziros are working on and it gets mixed reviews. I say mixed because some of the people who "didn't" like it, didn't like it not because of what they watched but because it wasn't an episode of Unforgotten Realms or a new World of Warcraft cartoon. Really guys? I even had a couple morons say things like "Wow you upload this piece of crap but not the episode you promised us". Like seriously? I don't recall saying I would EVER upload new episodes to Youtube. Youtube is an embarrassment to humanity. Like lots of people joke about how stupid people on Youtube are, but it isn't a joke. They are seriously retarded. There are people, who do not know there are other websites on the Internet. They have Youtube as their homepage and do not understand there are other places to go visit. It's sad.

My week has been pretty crappy besides that whole ordeal. Over the weekend, all the godaddy servers got hacked and even urealms was infected. I had to go through and spend my entire day fixing their terrible secruity error because a dangerous popup was going crazy on the forums. Not cool and just when I thought that wasn't enough my machine that labels the DVDs is angry at me. Shoot that reminds me I forgot to ask about the price cost of labeling DVDs at staples. Oh well, I'll call them tomorrow. Thanks for reminding me internet blog.

Speaking of DVDs. A lot and I mean a lot have not been mailed out. I'm not sure what else to say at this point but, sorry and really sorry. If you are super pissed at me, email me. Honestly, the order in which I have been mailing them has been "Who is the most angry at me and needs a DVD to stop being so angry". I know. It sucks. To everyone of you who has never even sent me a peep about the DVD and has just waited patiently. You are awesome. I won't be selling any more DVDs until all these are done, so don't worry I haven't forgotten about you.

So besides all that stuff going on. I'm doing "OK". Unforgotten Realms, hasn't sold nearly as many DVDs as I needed it too, but at this point thats a good thing as the DVDs were killing my life force to do anything creative. I will never, ever, ever do preorders again. Mind you the only reason I did so was because I was in a bad money situation, but if that sort of thing happens again (and it just very well might!). I think next time, i'll juggle around a part time job instead since thats what the DVD ended up feeling like. I'm excited about finished up this season, I'm excited to fully work for myself and I'm excited to have some new stuff on the horizon for this year but thats all for now. Do me a favor and watch the show and pass it along to friends and family and such!

PS: To you Bloggers and more directly to Blogger Matt, you guys really, really, really need to either stop being fans or cut me slack. If your intentions are to take my work, shit all over it and make me quit, the please continue to insult me. I said Unforgotten Realms is back April 30th. I released an episode of Unforgotten Realms on the 30th. You then, disappointed by your ability to find the episode on the front page and the fact it wasn't a numbered episode of the show, then insult me. If you are a fan, act like one. If you are a customer, cancel your order and take your money back. The dvd was meant for fans and I obviously didn't make that clear. You guys seriously, seriously, seriously kill my desire to do all this work.

Unforgotten Realms Returns April 30th

Long time right? Now that it's finally over and all thats left is mailing the DVDs (which trust me isn't as instantnous as people think). Let me know tell you the story about how much I hate the acronym DVD.

First off, if your DVD has not shipped. Don't panic. It simply means I'm mailing it sometime this month based on when you order it. If you are a furious person who is super angry at me, send me a threatening email and I'm sure that will speed up the process (Just kidding it really, really won't). At this stage I am literally just driving to the post officer a couple times a week mailing these things. Mind you when your talking about hundreds of DVDs that have to be packed, labeled, mailed one by one. It DOES take some time so please, just wait before sending me an angry email.

But how about a story time. A story of a DVD that was suppose to be released back late November is just now shipping in April.

It all started when I left the Escapist. People ask me why I left the Escapist or like to claim I was somehow fired or terminated or something silly. Trust me thats not the case. I don't want to rag on the Escapist because they are really good guys but they were simply not able to support the show anymore and I didn't have any options that were "Keep making Episodes" I had, build a DVD and keep working on the show or quit Unforgotten all together and pursue another career. So the emails, the PMs, the troll threads that I somehow just abandoned the show kinda sting guys because the sacrifices I have made and I have forced my wife to make should really not be taken lightly. Did you know Unforgotten Realms could have been on TV here in Canada? I chose back mid last year however to stay with the Escapist because I believe the Internet is a much better platform. People crying scam, scam, and the time I have had to waste dealing with people who think I'm stealing forty bucks from them really kicks me when I'm down here.

But enough about the DVD. Unforgotten Realms, the comic, the podcast. Will all be coming back up starting on the 26th. I might even have a preview for a new show I have been working on, but I don't like making promises. However, I will promise you that Unforgotten Realms shall continue on the 30th. So high five for that! These weeks moving up to it will give me some more time to get another episode or two ahead and some site/forum maintenance that I have been seriously putting off. Although I can tell already that I am going to be sick of driving to the post office by the end of the month, thats for sure.

Very Slow Month with no change in sight!

I am on the BRINK of finishing up this DVD and moving on with everything else with the site. This puppy is just eating up my time. Right now the entire site is at a standstill as I try to get these puppies ready to ship.

The good news is while I may have had lots of delays with the DVD, other projects have been brewing quiet nicey. I have a dozen podcasts recorded with Roamin and Gaary, the game as some may have seen a couple weeks back has some cool prospects to it and hopefully I can get some more UQ Dev nights in here in the future. I have a brand new fancy show in the works I plan on filming at the end of this month (Hopefully). Yup, although the site is slow now, hopefully will be kicking up soon enough here.

Man I feel like the last dozen updates on the site have just been "HEY IM WORKING ON THE DVD" but really thats pretty much all I can say at the moment. I'm on the final stretch and then i'll be back to getting season three done which by the way has an excellent ending. Lots of hate for Season Three as a whole from some of the LESSER FANS but man when those last couple episodes come out and everything clicks together both was all that build up worth it. Next season I'm going to relax on the storytelling in favor of just slapstick humor for a bit but I will say that Unforgotten Realms without a story just seriously doesn't make any sense. Roleplaying without.. Roleplaying? Geeze.

Oh? When am I planning to have this DVD out the door? End of the month. I'm in the final preparations here and while I have the DVDs now and they are ready to ship there is a SMALL PRESENT I'm waiting on I want give all my pre-orderies. I can say that as long as something doesn't go terribly wrong, the DVDs will start shipping before March. I will keep preorders going until the first day I ship and will put up a big one week warning as well. Once I start shipping however, The DVDs will go "Out of Stock' for awhile until every preorder is shipped and I have time to get setup for proper shipping.

If everything goes according to plan, you might not see "episodes" right away but you will see the build up and small trailers to episodes starting the first week of March with episodes coming out weekly again mid/end of March. I know I said February but alas DVD production deemed it no so.

Back from the Break. Getting down to Business!

I'm back and busy working on Unforgotten Realms here! Next week will have the comics, podcast and UQ Dev show up and we are getting ever closer to the episodes starting back up again!

This DVD is turning out to be a nightmare on eating my time by the way. We are still in pre-order mode and will be until the first shipment is out, but some people are killing me with the emails. I sent out a big email right before Christmas about the delays and such, but I must have gotten 200 or so emails asking where there DVD is. If you didn't know, I'm waiting for a shipment of DVDs from the guys I ordered them to print them all off. I was suppose to get them at the start of December and now it's looking I'll get them sometime this month. You will know when I start sending out DVD, so don't worry!

The Escapist is just creating more and more work for me as well. It took a couple days to go through and copy/past/embed code from page to page for the 46 episodes using their player and then earlier this month it just stopped working. Great. I don't even have my own episodes on my site. I'm going through and uploading season one over the course of this week and I'm working on getting Season Two up as well.

I don't like giving exact dates because they setup for disappointment but from where I stand right now, we might be seeing Season three continue in February as long as there are no more delays. So sit back and relax while I finish up this DVD so we can move forward. Don't worry too much about future DVD, they won't take nearly as much time as the first one had me learning how to do a lot of stuff.

I tried super hard to get that DVD out for Christmas, but in the end it all came down to waiting for a shipment of DVDs to get here that just didn't. My expected arrival date went from late last month, to early this month, to middle of this month to the start of the New Year.

Sorry guys and gals trying to give this as a Christmas present but it was just out of my hands.

On another "Oh man thats lame" note, some of may notice that the episodes aren't working on the site. For whatever reason, the embeded players just simply don't work off Escapist anymore and this wasn't something I could fix before heading to my parents for the Holidays. When I get back, I'll be uploading all of Season One and some of Two, but alot of the material is still exclusivly owned by Escapist so I might not be able to get all the episodes on this site if the player they provide doesn't work.

Now for some good news, we are over 40% complete for Season 3 funding! This means when I get back and the DVDs get shipped here hopefully early into the New Year, I'll be set to start releasing episodes. Season Three SHOULD continue January 1st or around that date but don't hold your tongue just yet!

I'll be leaving pre-orders for the DVD until I know exactly when I'm able to ship and give anyone sitting on the fence about them a 48 hour warning before taking it down so don't worry about that vanishing as I some doing. I will around checking the forums and my email so if you have any questions, concerns, cancellations for my immense failure, please be sure to contact me.

Another busy week here with tons of things going wrong! The comic was delayed, the podcast was released early and all the cases and DVDs got mailed to my moms house!

Yes everything seems to be against me this week. I was away from my computer Thrusday/Friday for some personal stuff and had my FTP program set to upload the cartoon at around noon on Thrusday. That somehow didn't work properly and I think it might have just been user error but it is sort of a bummer. Something else that totally did not work out this week was the Podcast for next week. I was putting a rough private version of the podcast onto Youtube to send to some people and although I know 100% I set that thing to "Private" it somehow managed to upload as "Public". Very, very annoying as I had to then deal with a bunch of angry fans upset I took it off youtube because they are clueless of this site and if it isn't on youtube they don't care. Sadface.

Besides all of THAT though, things are shaping up nicely. I will give fair warning here about the DVD though. I absoutely am refusing to cut stuff off of it so it will most likely get delayed in shipping by a week or two. This is only because the pre orders have been insane so far and I'm totally going to get backed up here. If you are planning on giving this DVD to someone for Christmas, throw me an email at rob @ wittywizard.com and I can see what I can do to make sure you are on the first batch mailed out here. Hopefully everyone will get it by Christmas but for you guys overseas I really can't promise much as I have no idea what kind of time it's going to really take.

Alright then. This Monday is another live show, we got Two more comics coming up on Tuesday and Thrusday and the new podcast (The one without Johnny, stop emailing me because this isn't something I can change) will be out Wenesday. I will tell you guys right now that if you are looking for the same kind of show as Legendary Heroes, you might be disappointed, but with that said, if you are open minded and like to laugh then this new podcast will surely end up on your Wenesday night links.

UR Comics

Sorry the first one is coming out a bit late in the evening! I was a bit busy today and didn't have the time until tonight to get everything setup properly for the web comic. Future installments should be going up before I even wake up, thanks to some nifty new software. So, hopefully you guys are ready for the next chapter of Unforgotten Realms in Interactive comic form!

I meant to get this blog post up last night but I have just been completely out of it the past couple days. My real life is kicking the crap out of all the work I'm suppose to be doing, but I'll get it all together here over the weekend. While the comics were a sure-fire-100%-I-know-it's-absolutely-going-to-happen thing, there have been some changes with the Podcast and Live Stream shows. Some of you might be excited for this news and some of you might be disappointed, but I think a couple months from now everyone will like the changes being made.

Next Monday kicks off the new Live Stream show I'm doing on Mondays. Originally my idea was to simply play games with the fans, and host it live. Sometimes maybe play solo games, sometimes play some multi player for people to join in. While that idea sounds cool on paper,I currently don't have the resources to do it how I would like too. I can't stream my xbox or any consoles, and would be limited to just computer games. So I been thinking about it all week and I'm going to change the live show to something I would love to be able to do every Monday Night.

Work on Unforgotten Quest.

Game design is my true passion, and while I like making cartoons and such, it isn't a hobby anymore and some of the fun has been squeezed out. Mind you, writing cartoons is always entertaining, but recording the audio, mixing the audio, animating scenes, rendering scenes ... well, all of that can get pretty boring quickly sometimes. So I'm gonna do 'hit two birds with one stone' here and make it so Monday Night is a night where I live stream working on Unforgotten Quest. For some of you, it won't be all that interesting, but for others you'll get to see progress that's being made on the new game I have just started- and even be able to throw in your input. (Mind you I might listen to your input, but don't think this is a collaborated game. I don't write scripts that way and I sure as heck don't intend to design games that way!) Hopefully it will be a neat little fill for Mondays because it will give me that excuse every week to work on something I really want to see the light of day in the upcoming year.

The podcast, which also has some bad news/good news with it, is getting a complete make over. It will not be the Legendary Heroes Podcast, and will not feature Johnny. It was my fault to post and say Johnny would be back before everything was confirmed and podcasts were being made. Johnny and I want two different things out of the podcast and in the end neither of us could really come to an agreement on it, but don't worry because while one podcast might die off once and for all, here a new one and hopefully just as entertaining, if not more entertaining is about to be born. Most of the fans do not know that Roamin and Gaary are based off two people, those two people being Roamin and Gaary. These guys have been my Internet buddies for over five years, in fact it might even be closer to ten now. If you ever found the way Roamin and Gaary argue about the simplest of things to be hilarious then this new "currently unnamed" podcast will likely be the greatest thing you will ever watch in your life. More news on this one next week after we do the first recording of it.

All in all, some good news and some bad news. On the cartoon front, we are close to Cotswell, which means I don't need to go pick up a part time job and can finish up Unforgotten Realms Season Three after the New Years. Don't fret too much if that sounds like a long time as I have a couple other small cartoons planned for the holidays.

Hallowbolean Issues

So I wake up Saturday Morning (Halloween), to find my computer won't turn on. This bothers me because my fiancée's computer just recently had the same problem last week. So I started to wonder if it was something malicious the two of us might have gotten but then I did found out my PChad had been running at nearly 90 degrees all night and that's when I realized the heating for my office is right next to my PC.

Whoops.

I cooled it off and it looks like I didn't break anything, but now I'm going to have to reorganize some stuff around the office here to make sure this doesn't happen again. Either way it delayed the Hallowbolean Episode most of the day, which really sucks since I wanted to get it up nice and early for everyone to be able to see, but didn't end up getting on the site till 9pm EST. Oh well, it doesn't have much of a Halloween theme to it anyway. So I'm sure most of you will enjoy it anyway.

The DVD is set to be released in the next 25 days which worries me, as things are taking much longer then I thought. This week I'll be working on get the Master Copy for the first DVD in the bundle that contains all the episodes and commentary. Some of the episodes have had their scenes redone. For example, Timmy the Evil is in a lair a bit more Evil then just a room with nothing in it but shadows. Hopefully I'll have it done by the end of the week because I need the time to get started on the bonus features. I really don't want to delay the release of the DVD but at the same time I don't want to give you guys a product that doesn't totally kick ass. The Halloween episode will end up being on the DVD but I do still plan on adding some other exclusive Roamin and Gaary cartoons in the same fashion. I'll wait till we get closer to the final date to see if any delays need to happen but I'll try my hardest to get copies sent out before Christmas (You overseas folks might not get it till the New Year but I'm trying hard to not let that happen).

Another thing you guys might notice about the Roamin and Gaary Halloween episode is "THE QUALITY"! Back on the Escapist the episodes really paid using that video player, but now using Blip.tv, you guys will really get to see the episodes in all their golden glory. Season One, Two, and Three of Unforgotten Realms will get updated once their respective DVDs come out. And due to contract obligations I still have with the Escapist, I can't yet, but I plan on releasing all my content in this video quality. Some of you might be saying to yourself "But Rob Exclamation Mark, Why buy the DVD if you are going to give us high quality web cartoons?". Well Steve or whatever you are calling yourself these days, I suspect a lot of people who buy the DVD don't buy it for just high quality versions of the episodes which is why I try to offer tons and tons of bonus content that will give you a lot of reasons to want to buy future DVDs. Also, a lot of fans simply bought the DVD for more episodes to be released because they love the show so much so hopefully putting out Quality web cartoons doesn't kill me in the long run!

Speaking of all you cool guys and gals but mostly guys who pre-ordered the DVD. You people are awesome. I'm not at liberty to say how many I have sold so far, but I can say that starting in the New Year Season three will most defiantly be continuing and if things keep up you can expect a Season Four! I haven't started advertising it on places like Newgrounds and Youtube and other channels I have some fans, but when it's released we might see another surge of 10% or 15% which would just be fantastic.

Last but not least. It's November! Lots of cool content is coming to the site this month and lots of it is still in the works. The First ever Unforgotten Realms web comic comes out this Tuesday and then again Thursday and the following week I'll be started a Live Show on Mondays. The idea for the live show was originally going to be just me playing video games with the fans but I'm starting to really consider some other ideas. I might make the live show simply a couple hours of me working on the Unforgotten Realms game due to the fact this gets two things accomplished, one it gives me spare time to work on something I never have time for and two it gives you guys a glimpse of something to see in the future! We'll see what happens, as I'm still deciding what next week will bring us, but hopefully it ends up being something totally badass!

Tiddlywank was just released on Newgrounds which is an animation I made December of last YEAR, but have been just holding onto for the longest time. Mostly because I don't really find it that funny, and it's kinda amateur from all the Unforgotten Realms stuff I been doing, but oh well. New Website!

Welcome to WittyWizard! A website to find all the old, new and yet to come material of Robert Moran (That's me talking in third person, pretty cool right?). With it comes a couple new things and a lot of old things! You can read/watch about all my work from past or present or if you are so daring enough to do so visit my FANCY new blog to find out about upcoming features to the site!

Alright then. Whats new? So with the new site I have a couple new planned features coming out. First off, the DVD pre-orders have begun and this fancy site can be checked out to see the progress I'm making with them. Essentially once I have sold enough DVDs to cover the cost of making the next season of Unforgotten Realms, I will begin releasing episodes again! Sounds good right? I am hoping to have new episodes coming out as early as the New Year but if that isn't soon enough for you don't fret too much because I have some special animations coming out as well.

If you read anything about the DVD, you would know that there are three Roamin and Gaary cartoons that are coming with it. One of them is the Halloween special that will be airing Oct 31st! The other two are exclusive to the DVD! There will also be an Unforgotten Realms Christmas Special this year as well so get ready for that! Outside of the animations though Witty Wizard will be hosting a couple other features on the site.

Unforgotten Realms is getting it's own 3 panel cartoon. It's not just your basic .jpg cartoon either, it's gonna be pretty fancy with voice overs and pop up speech bubbles so it will be something for the dedicate few who just need more Unforgotten Realms in there life. The plan is to have two released per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays and hopefully those will start up something at the end of the month.

Another feature coming out is Monday Night Game Night. Awhile back I played ScribbleNaughts over ustream and a lot of people seemed to enjoy just hanging out watching me make snarky remarks. Sometimes I'll be playing those Single Player games but others I'll be playing Multiplayer ones for you guys to join in or watch.. or do both and cheat you cheater-Mc.-Cheaterson! As with the comic, this is planned to start early November right after I get done with all the DVD and site changes going on around here first.

Lastly, something some of you older fans might go crazy for, I can happily announce that the fabled and epic Legendary Heroes podcast will once again be blessing the Unforgotten Realms community. Johnny Voruz will be lending his sexy voice to once again for a weekly podcast with yours truly. Johnny wants to also start a little quiz with the fans to be able to join in on the podcast but more information on that will be coming out later this month.

With all this new content the plan is to have the weekdays work like this.

Monday Night Game Night on Monday
Unforgotten Realms Comic Strip on Tuesday
Legendary Heroes Podcast on Wednesday
Unforgotten Realms Comic Strip on Thursday
And finally, an episode of Unforgotten Realms on Friday

Hopefully come new year will be in full swing with more Unforgotten Realms then ever before! That is of course if enough people BUY THE DVD!
